The Nutcracker

Aloha all,

Thanks for stopping by. For my latest project, I want to share the cute new files that came out over at Kadoodle Bug Designs.com. The store is having another spectacular sale and everything is 90% off right now.

Even though I have the eBrush, I saw that crayola had their own version of an airbrush called, Crayola Marker Airbrush and thought I would much rather have my daughter use that then my eBrush to use on her various school projects.
It's a great alternative to figure out if an eBrush is for you but, the downside to Crayola is you having to keep pumping air into the chamber. The whole nature scene was shaded using the Crayola Marker Airbrush and the good thing about this airbrush is that the markers are water based and therefore can get wiped off of your craft area, table,  etc.

As soon as I saw KBD's  Nutcracker file, I just knew that I had to recreate it.
To help me with this project I used Samantha Walker's Snowman Bendy Card Design ID #107014 from the Silhouette Online Store.

Of course you will need to edit your points to get rid of your snowman which will then leave you with the landscape scene which just by itself is so beautiful I almost didn't want to attach anything to it.

At first my Nutcracker looked so lonely on this card I decided to add in the lamppost and the little mice. Aren't the mice too darn cute?

This file can be purchased here. There are so many new cuties out your not going to want to miss this spectacular sale.

There was one small tree added to the left of the card and this too came from the Silhouette Online store, Design ID #52802.

Of course this project wouldn't be complete without my JB goodies, Christmas wishes and the candy charms and banner die.

I hope this card inspires you to play as well and if so, please leave me a comment. I would love to come visit your creation.
Speaking of other people's creations. Amanda Jones did her own version of paper on the glass blocks and it came out super adorable. You can visit her project here.

Mahalo for visiting and wishing you and yours the Merriest Christmas!

As always, have a scrappy day!
